Adventures you can do right now.
- Sit in nature and write down what you see, hear, feel and smell.
- Do a mini photoshoot with local art (murals, statues, etc.)
- Wake up extra early and take a nature walk during sunrise (bonus challenge: invite a friend to join you!).
- Read a book in a new-to-you genre.
- Find a new organization to volunteer at (food pantry, after school program, animal shelter, etc.)
- Try something new that’s not in your comfort zone.
- Sit on top of a roof or porch and watch the sun go down.
- Frolic!
- Ask the barista to make their favorite drink and try it at your favorite coffee spot.
- Take a walk and look at the little things.
- Compliment a stranger on their outfit.
- Find 10 things you think are beautiful and take a picture of them.
- Call your best friend you haven’t talked to in ages.
- Make a mood board of things you want to thrift - and then go try and recreate them!
- Treat yourself to a solo date with your favorite treat.
- Write 10 things you are grateful for down on paper.
- Tell someone WHY you love them.
- Go for a drive without any purpose but to have a car concert.
- Buy yourself flowers!
- Head to the park to people watch and soak up the sun.
- Make a new playlist of songs that make you feel something (joy, sadness, excitement, relaxed)
- Bake something you’ve never tried before.
- Turn on your favorite music and have a mini dance party.
- Ask a stranger for your next book/music/movie/podcast recommendation and actually give it a try. Pro-tip: ask someone in the service industry! Your next waitress, barista, hostess, etc.
- Try something for the first time: a new workout class, a restaurant, a hiking trail etc!
